That's so cool. Not so much in the "oooh, I know a Tony-award winning director" sense (although that, too), but because John is such a dear and talented and utterly humble man.
I love the Tonys, despite the fact that I rarely ever attend Broadway shows. The performances are always a lot of fun.
The only nominated show I've seen this year is "The Wedding Singer," and that's only due to my massive crush on Stephen Lynch. :-) The show was really good, though.
