"Whatever blows your skirt up" has made it's way back into my vocabulary. This doesn't trouble me.

"I cut it, a few days ago, while making food. You were there."
"Oh yeah. You cut it wit' knife?"
"Yup."

And then she stood there, blinking at me. The story was over and I didn't have anything else to say. It was a weird moment.

Then she gave me a kiss and went into the living room.

I'm totally making a couple black sparkle pumpkins for the porch.

We don't expect any trick-or-treaters, 'cause this is a long way to go for a bag of pretzels or a mini-snickers, but I'm still decorating the porch, 'cause I *can*. :D

Also buying a bag of treats, just in case. 'Cause if I don't, we'll have a thousand trick-or-treaters and I'll end up giving out cans of refried beans or something.

Currently, Sam wants to be Delirium from Sandman (so her *third* Gaiman inspired outfit. I'm so proud) and Charlie wants to be a dinosaur. I told them they have to have everything firm by the first week in September. We'll see how many changes there are between now and then.
