If I were younger, I'd look at tomorrow's date and say "Ten months till my birrrrrrthday!".

I don't think I mentioned the newest niftiness I discovered about my mixer.

When one is using the actual mixing paddle thingie (rather than the whisk or the dough hook), and one adds nuts, it crunches the nuts itself. Okay, they still have to be shelled, but they don't have to be crushed or chopped.

This is, of course, if the desired result is bits of nut ranging from wee to not so wee. If something more uniform is desired, yer on yer own.
