shadesong, there's going to be a Jareth action figure! And he looks amazing. (Well...it's David Bowie. Even on his bad days, he probably looks fabulous.) Too bloody cool.

I do wish some of the spam I got was real mail. Like "Be cabbage to chaplin". I'd *love* to know what that was about. And now, I'll never know if they meant Charlie or a padre in the army. (Yeah. My only "real" exposure to chaplains is M*A*S*H. I'm pretty sure there are chaplains of every flavor and military branch. Probably other places too.) (I know, two different spellings. But spammers aren't exactly known for their mastery of spelling, so it could have gone either way.)

Got the Care Bear fabric, so I can finish the blanket top. Not that the fleece is here yet. 'Cause Joann.com *sucks*, man. No really. They do. I ordered stuff on the eighth and they sent me a confirmation. And that was it. No "We mailed it" note. So, I wrote and said "Dude, where's my fabric?". Got confirmation that they got my query, then nothing. Next day, "Oh, we mailed that. Today." along with "We're out of the purple gingham flannel". Well, if you'd mailed it when I *ordered* it, you wouldn't be out of it, now *would* you? Asshats.
So, I'll be buying fabric from other places...might even venture out to a real store now and then. Stranger things have happened.
I guess the blanket will be a New Year's gift. Though, it'll actually be a "Whenever I finish it" gift, 'cause if ya think I'm bad at waiting to give a gift I've bought, that's nothing compared to trying to wait to give a gift I've made.

As you could probably tell from my post, yesterday sucked like a massively sucky suckything. It was one of those headaches where your brain goes "Hmm...pain in the head...we have pills for that. We should take those." and the stomach says "No, we shouldn't. Trust me. Bad will happen if anything comes down here." Eventually, I was able to take the pills and a million years later, they started to work. And I'm only very slightly headachey today. So...I think it works out to yay. Thanks for the anti-pain vibes. They helped and *didn't* make my stomach unhappy. Definite yay. :)
