A new entry for the spammer name hall of fame (oooh, that rhymes).

Catboat O. Gyroscopes.

Dear Headache Gnomes,

Stop it, stop it, stop it!

Sincerely and with no love at all,

The chick unto whom you are bang-banging your silver hammers

In other news, Trader Joe's Parmesan Cheesesticks are absolutely delicious.

New Lemurs discovered. They're quite wee. And remarkably cute.

Researchers first located the three new mouse lemurs in Madagascar's eastern rain forests in 2001.

It took several more years to gather sufficient data and complete the genetic analysis that confirms the three as distinct species.

I guess that means they don't have to have their family reunions together any longer.;)

Yes, I *am* in a weird and dorky mood. Thanks for asking. *grin*

A link from the lemur article says Madagascar Movie Magic Might Be Real-Life Nightmare. Um. World of duh? Perhaps universe of duh, even.

No might about it. Four highly pampered animals thrust into the wild would either adapt or die. Adaptation means reverting to instincts. Which means the lion would eat the giraffe and zebra if they didn't run fast enough, and then the hippo and the lion would probably fight to the death (hippos are *far* tougher than their PR dept. lets on), if the hippo didn't leave to find a cool body of non-salty water while the lion was chasing lunch the other two.

Not adapting? Means the lion's survival would be easier. Sure, the females in a lion pack are the ones who hunt for the pride. But the sharp teeth in the mouths of male lions aren't just there for show.

Ohmighods, I *need* one of these. Skelanimals Andy Glow-in-the-Dark Plush Toy It's a plushie panda w/glow in the dark bones. No really, go look. It's far cuter than I make it sound.

I think I need to collect them all. 'Cause besides the panda, there's a puppy and a kitty and a monkey. Haven't you always wanted a monkey?

I could totally see myself sleeping with the panda, if I didn't already sleep with the penguin [livejournal.com profile] jenny_junipurr gave me. But I do, so the panda can live on the shelf above my computer desk with my dragon and stuffed Zorbak (from Adventurequest) or on the bookcase with Jack Skellington and my small assortment of creepy-cute dolls. Decisions, decisions.

From [livejournal.com profile] amenquohi we get the link to the company with what has to be the worst company motto in the history of company mottoes.

Troy Chemical. Where Excellence Is Not An Option.

No. Really.

Now, if you go to the site and click on the logo at the top, you get a memo-like page that tells you that they're very committed to customer service and that sort of thing, and that, in their opinion, excellence is not optional. I wonder if anyone has ever told them that the motto and the memo don't exactly match...

~~~
I love this song.
~~~

Sleep didn't happen. Bother. Sam's watching Mr. Rogers right now and then we're going to (in her words) "do school". I should be able to catch a nap after we do that and I set her up with lunch. Unless I get untired again. Three times in one day? That'd be a record.

I *really* hope this sleep stuff...or, really, non-sleep stuff stops soon. I *like* sleeping...and I like not being bleary during the day too.
