May. 26th, 2006 07:46 pmIf I was to paint our bedroom ceiling, should I paint the vents too? If I did, I'd take them out and do it carefully, so they don't look sucky and to make sure the parts that open and close don't get clogged. It seems logical to paint them, unless one really wants them to stand out, but our ceiling is the light buttery cream of the walls and the vents are white. And, as I've never painted a ceiling before, I have *no* idea.
I mean, of course, I *could* paint anything I liked, up to and including the windows. But they'd look stuuuupid.
It'd be kind of neat to have stealth vents though.

I'm not actually planning to paint the bedroom anytime soon. The little powder room in the living room, maybe. I think I'll start by putting the art on the walls. It's easier to change if I don't like it. :)

Torrid is doing 50% off clearance again this weekend. And if your feets are size six or seven, you might want to look. My feets are *not* six or seven, they are eight and a half or nine, but I found two pair of flats (neeeed slip on flats that aren't the loafers I've been living in for too long), and a companion for my Corset Lamp. The one I have has pink ribbon lacing. They're *very* nifty pieces. Useful too.
I'm going to be on the lookout for black shades...I *like* the frosted shades w/the sillhouettes, but they don't really fit the corsets. I'm sure I'll put the frosted shades to good uses somewhere or other.

Whoa!I know kung-fu They're making a Hogfather movie. I've seen the animated Wyrd Sisters, which is *great* and Soul Music is on my list. I had no idea this was up next. Wish they were doing Reaper Man...it's my favorite. Perhaps, one day, they
