In other news, when one says no to someone (not a child or salesperson), why does that person often ask the question again, at multiple times and in multiple ways? If it's a real no (and I assume all Nos to be real unless I've got some damn solid proof), why don't they realize it's generally easier to say no the second, third and nine thousanth time?

Yeah, that's cryptic as hell. I'll probably flesh it out in the next couple days...but the core question will be the same.

John Cleese's Lemur special (no, he isn't a lemur...he's following lemurs through the wild) is on our PBS station at eight tonight. Please check your local listings. *Grin*
I saw it in July and it's wonderful...not available on dvd yet, or I'd own it.
