Blithe Spirit

We've got a ghost hanging about the place. I haven't had one of those in a living area since we moved from the house on Clairemont drive. That was a nice spirit...though it did have a habit of leaving lights on. But, it (I think it was a he, but I never inquired) did stop when I asked nicely and explained that I was getting a little weirded out.
This one is very helpful. I think it may read as well. 'Cause I could *not* find my copy of American Gods *anywhere*...and I could remember *seeing* it on the bedside table. After a thorough rifling of the bedroom, I went to look in the bathroom again, just in case I'd missed the huge hardback laying on the counter. Then went back into the bedroom for something or other.
And found the book on the bed, laying near my pillows. Jeff didn't put it there and I know for a true fact that it wasn't there when I left the room, 'cause that was precisely the place I'd been laying to look under the bed. At least it didn't lose my place.:)
